Logos Hope, the world’s largest floating book fair has docked at the Male’ Commercial Harbour.
Logos Hope generally visits ports for two weeks and is continually sailing from port to port year round. According to officials, the ship sells books in units, which has been fixed to 100 units per MVR 50.
Featuring a large selection of children’s, cookery, health and well-being books, the ship is attracting a large crowd in the capital Male'.
Logos Hope is operated by a German charity named Gute Bücher für Alle (Good Books for All). The charity's website revealed that the ship welcomed 83 guests, including Minister of Youth & Sports Mohamed Maleeh Jamal, and other government officials, upon its arrival at the Male' port yesterday evening.
Logos Hope’s book fair will be open to the public until the evening of Friday, 20 December.
