Ibrahim Sujau elected Deputy Mayor of Male

Galolhu-Dhekunu Councillor Ibrahim Sujau has been elected as the Deputy Mayor of Male’ City.

Sujau was elected with five votes in favour at the 144th general meeting of the council held today.

His rival Medhu-Henveyru Councillor Lufshan Shakeeb received three votes.

This election follows the resignation of Ahmed Samah Rasheed as Deputy Mayor of Male’ City.
