President appoints three officials to government

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed three officials to his government.

They are Mohamed Muizzu Adnan as Minister of State for Defence and National Security, Ibrahim Faisal as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, and Mohamed Hanim as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

The President’s Office said that Hanim will work at the Department of Penitentiary and Rehabilitation Services (DPRS), run by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
