Board members of Utility Companies and Health Services Corporations have been dismissed today, in order to facilitate the operation of Utility Companies and Health Services Corporations under the same structure.
The President today also set up an interim board for all Utility Companies consisting of seven members, and an interim board for all Health Services Corporations consisting of seven members.
The President’s Office said that the purpose of this is to obtain expert advice on the operation regulations of Utility Companies and Health Services Corporations, review of these regulations and to strengthen their services.
President Waheed previously set up two committees to strengthen and review the operations of Utility Companies and Health Services Corporations.
Utility Companies committee consists of Ibrahim Athif Shakoor of M. Aasthaanaa, Mohamed Ahmed Didi of M. Honey dew, Dr Abdulla Firag of Fiyaathoshige, Ha. Thakandhoo, Mohamed Faiz of Ma. Havana, Abdul Matheen Mohamed of Naaress, R. Hulhudhuffaaru, Shimaadh Ibrahim of Dhilshaadhuge, Ga. Dhevvadhoo and Mohamed Nimal of M. Kokaa Handhuvaru.
The Health Services Corporations committee consists of Ibrahim Mohamed of M. Muleege, Mohamed Iyad Hameed of M. Muddhoo, Mohamed Ibrahim Manik of Medhuge, Th. Guraidhoo, Dr Abdulla Afeef of Hudhuvillaage, S. Meedhoo, Aminath Rasheeda Abubakr of H. Thiyara, Shareef Mohamed of Tulip maage, Ha. Hoarafushi and Hussain Fahmee of M. Fathaha.
