Elections Commission has announced that officials will place permanent voter identification marks on individuals' left hand ring finger for the second round of the presidential election, set for 16 November.
Elections Commission president Fuad Tahufeeq told Sun today: “The mark will be put on the left hand ring finger in the presidential election second round to be held on Saturday.”
For the annulled election on 7 September, the mark was placed on the right hand forefinger, and on the left hand forefinger during the re-run held on 9 November.
Fuad also said that representatives from both candidates are now in the process of signing the final voters’ list, which is expected to conclude tonight.
