Motorcycles torched in Male

Four motorcycles parked on Kurikeela Magu, Machangoalhi, in the capital Male’ were torched early morning today.

The arson attack was reported around 4:00 a.m. The motorcycles were parked in front of a house named Cool Oasis.

Police said Fire and Rescue firefighters extinguished the flames around 4:11 a.m.

The fire had left three motorcycles rendered useless. The house, Cool Oasis, also received a degree of damage.

Police said no arrests have been made and that they are investigating the case.
