President returns after medical treatment in Singapore

President Dr Mohamed Waheed has returned to Maldives after obtaining medical treatment in Singapore.

President Waheed and First Lady Ilham Hussain departed to Singapore on 24 October and returned last night.

The President’s Office has not disclosed any details regarding the president’s health.

The president also visited his children in Hong Kong during this private visit.
