Government invites proposals for airport development in Maafaru and Kudahuvadhoo

Government has invited companies interested in developing domestic airports in Noonu Maafaru and Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo to submit proposals.

Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture said the companies who submitted Expression of Interest (EOI) for the projects have been invited to submit proposals by 1:30p.m. on 6 November.

Tourism Ministry said two companies have expressed interests for airport development in Kudahuvadhoo, which was initially announced on 7 August. The project is coupled with a separate island for resort development, which will be granted to the winning bidder.
