Former presidents Maumoon Abdul Gayoom and Mohamed Nasheed have condemned the attack on the car of High Commissioner of India to the Maldives on Monday night.
The rear window of the car was broken while parked in front of the Indian High Commission on Ameer Ahmed Magu in the capital Male’.
Former president Maumoon said in a tweet last night that he strongly condemns the attack and that the culprits must be brought to justice.

Former president Nasheed also condemned the attack and called on the government to launch an immediate investigation.

Police released a statement promptly after the attack, condemning the attack and assuring that the matter will be thoroughly investigated. They have made a public appeal for information on the individuals behind this attack.
No arrests have yet been made.
