Deadline for filing complaints extended again

The Elections Commission has once again extended the deadline for filing complaints regarding re-registration forms.

Speaking to Sun Online, Secretary General of the Elections Commission Asim Abdul Sattar said that the deadline for filing complaints for residents of Male’ have been extended until 2:00 a.m., Wednesday, and the deadline for filing complaints for people living in the atolls have been extended until midnight.

He said that people should also file complaints if they receive wrong information when they send an SMS to the commission’s number 1414.

He said that efforts are under way to send the final list of voters to the candidates on Thursday

Asim said that processing of re-registration forms has not been completed, and that the work is ongoing expeditiously.
