EC to print 242,724 ballot papers for fresh presidential election

Elections Commission (EC) has stated that 242,724 ballot papers will be printed for the first round of the fresh election, to be held on 19th October.

Speaking to Sun, Secretary General of EC Asim Abdul Sattar said that ballot papers will be printed one percent in excess to the total number of eligible voters.

“We will print 242,724 ballot papers for the presidential election that we will hold on the 19th of this month. This is one percent more than the number of eligible voters,” Asim said.

The total number of eligible voters for the October 19th presidential election is 242,967 voters, he said.

The total number of eligible voters for the 7th September presidential election was 239,593 voters.
