Two arrested for alcohol possession in Male

Two people have been arrested for making alcohol in a house in Male’.

The police said that a Sri Lankan couple was arrested in Ma. Meeraa’aage while making alcohol this evening.

The police also found apparatus used by the couple, who lived in Meeraa’aage for rent, for making alcohol.

The purpose of their stay in Male’ is yet unclear.
