Court issues injunction on demolition of MP Moosa Manik

Civil Court has issued an order to halt the demolition of the residence of Hulhuhenveiru MP Reeko Moosa Manik, Maafannu Gulhazaaruge.

This order was issued upon Moosa Manik and Ibrahim Ramiz of Maafannu Gulhazaaruge.

The order follows a case filed by Ali Riyaz of Maafannu Golden Bones, claiming that he had rented and was using five rooms on the ground floor of Maafannu Gulhazaaruge, when efforts began to demolish the rented building, in violation of the rent agreement.

The Civil Court ordered Moosa Manik and Ibrahim Ramiz to halt the efforts to demolish Maafannu Gulhazaaruge until the court makes a decision on this case.
