275 names will be added to voters

The Elections Commission has said that 275 names of new eligible voters will be added to the voters’ list for the second round of the presidential election, scheduled for Saturday.

President of Elections Commission Fuad Thaufeeg told Sun Online today that there were 239,593 eligible voters in the first round, and that there will be 239,868 eligible voters in the second round of the presidential election.

More than 10,000 forms were submitted for re-registration, by people wishing to vote from a different location in the second round.
