A woman has suffered injuries after she fell from the third floor of a building in Male’, and landed on a car on the street.
The police said that the woman fell from the third floor of Galolhu Makhumaage at 1:25 am last night.
She was with two people when she fell, and the police arrested the two people this morning.
The police have not given any details of the incident.
Sun has come to know that the woman landed on a car on Faashanaakilege Magu. The fall caused a dent on the roof of the car.
The woman was taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) by the police. The hospital has also not given any details regarding her condition or injuries.
Earlier, on 14 August, an 8-year-old also fell from the first floor of a building and suffered major injuries.
The Maldives Association of Construction Industry (MACI) has called on relevant authorities to vacate the buildings where safety is not up to standard, and take action against the owners.
