Police release video in relation to theft of mobile phone from Immigration Department

The police have released a video, and appealed for public support in identifying the suspect who stole a mobile phone from the Immigration Department’s visa counter.

The video shows the suspect stealing a Samsung S3 Mini phone lying on the visa counter. The office is empty except for a person sitting on a sofa, and the thief walks behind the sofa up to the counter, takes the phone, and walks out.

The theft took place on 26 June, and was reported to the police at 14:23 on the same day.

The public has been requested to contact the police as soon as possible if they have information on the suspect seen in the video. The police have assured to provide protection to anyone who provides information on the suspect.
