Man arrested for repeated sexual abuse of two minors

A man has been arrested for the repeated sexual abuse of two minors.

Police said that a 47-year-old man suspected of the crime was arrested under court warrant around 9:30 p.m. last night.

They said that investigations have revealed that a 17 year old girl and a 13 year old boy have been victims of repeated sexual abuse by the 47-year-old man.

The case, filed by Thaa Atoll Family and Children’s Services, is being investigated by Thaa Guraidhoo police station.
