Speedboat sinks after colliding with another speedboat

Two speedboats have been damaged in a dangerous accident about 30 feet from Hulhule’.

The police said that the accident occurred at 15:50 today, and that the two men who were injured were first treated at the airport, and then taken to Male’ for further treatment.

The accident took place when a speedboat of Ellaidhoo Island Resort collided with a speedboat of Meeru Island Resort, which was traveling from Male’ to the airport, Hulhule’.

Both boats were damaged in the accident.

The police said that both speedboats have been taken to Hulhule’ harbour.

Efforts are under way by Marine Police to determine the cause of the accident, said the police.
