Harbour dredging project in three islands awarded to MT Hojgaard

The MVR 6.5 million harbour dredging project for the islands of Shaviyani Narudhoo, Feydhoo and Bileffahi has been awarded to MT Hojgaard.

The project was handed over to the company at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure today.

Speaking to the media after the ceremony, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr Mohamed Muizzu said that the project, financed from the State budget, should be completed within three months.

He said that the project will be implemented at the end of next month.
