Male’ City Ramadan Fresh Market 2013, a special food market aimed for the holy month of Ramadan, has opened today.

Consisting of 24 stalls, the market has been assembled inside the parking lot in Henveryru ward, between Carnival and the baibala (wrestling) grounds in Arificial Beach.

General Manager of the organizers of the market, Go Media Maldives' Ibrahim Amir told Sun today the market will continue until the end of Eid holidays in mid August and that the stalls will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 1 a.m.

“Most of the fruits imported the Maldives will be available from the market, along with vegetables and a majority of the local produce will be available all from one place,” Amir said.
