Usama appointed as Registrar of PPM

Usama Mohamed Rasheed has been appointed as the Registrar of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).

PPM said in a statement issued yesterday that Usama was appointed to this post at the party’s 11th council meeting held yesterday.

Usama is the son of former Chief Justice Mohamed Rasheed Ibrahim.

Usama’s predecessor, Zaha Waheed, has been appointed as the Secretary General of PPM.
