Presidential Election Regulation published on gazette

The Regulation on the Presidential Election scheduled for 7 September 2013 has been published on the gazette.

The regulation details the procedures to be followed by candidates and their delegates in relation to the presidential election.

So far, out of the candidates who will stand in the presidential election, only President Dr Mohamed Waheed has commenced efforts towards forming coalitions. He has been joined by DRP, Adhaalath Party and Gaumee Party.
