Wage policy bill and prison and parole bill returned to parliament for reconsideration

President Dr Mohamed Waheed has returned the State Policy on Remuneration of Public Officials Bill and the Prison and Parole Bill to the parliament for reconsideration.

The President’s Office said in a statement issued today that the president, in a letter sent to the speaker of parliament, detailed the main issues noted by the Attorney General regarding the bills.
