President travels to Kulhudhuffushi to seek public opinion on the island

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has travelled to Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi to seek public opinion regarding the island's road development project.

President’s Office revealed today that the President arrived in Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi this afternoon, with an intention to hold discussions and gather opinions from the people of the island regarding their road development project, to ensure that the project is implemented according to their wishes.

President is currently on a tour of some of the islands in Haa Dhaalu atoll.

Kulhudhuffushi road development project was officially inaugurated by President Waheed on the 1st of February this year. The project was initiated by laying road bricks on the island’s Ameenee Magu.

Inaugurating the road development project, the President said that project will facilitate much development for Kulhudhuffushi and that once completed, it will provide great ease for the people of the island.
