Mausoom elected as DRP Parliamentary Group Leader

Kelaa MP Abdullah Mausoom has been elected as the Parliamentary Group Leader of Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party (DRP).

Mausoom was elected automatically as no other members contested for this post, at the ongoing DRP Congress.

Mausoom’s predecessor is Leader of DRP, Kendhoo MP Ahmed Thasmeen Ali.

DRP said that whips will be elected to the Parliamentary Group through voting in the Parliamentary Group tomorrow. The party has not yet revealed the applicants for the vacant whip posts.
