Gemanafushi MP Ilham joins JP

Gemanafushi MP Ilham Ahmed has joined Jumhooree Party (JP).

Ilham signed to join the party at a JP rally ongoing at Artificial Beach.

After joining JP, Ilham said that Gasim Ibrahim is capable of producing results and urged people to vote for Gasim to ensure development for the country.

Ilham said that people should think carefully before voting in the Presidential Election, and that depending on how people vote, GMR could return and the people’s assets could be sold.

In addition to Ilham, Abdullah Kamaaluddeen and Vice President of Gemanafushi Council Ajwad Mohamed also signed to join JP tonight.

Ilham resigned from the post of Vice President of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) a few days ago.
