Television Maldives’ (TVM) former employee Mohamed Asif (Mondhu), who had served the state broadcaster for 23 years, has signed up as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of V-Media.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of V-Media Ibrahim Khaleel confirmed the news to Sun and said that Asif joined the organization yesterday.
“Mohamed Asif is the Chief Operating Officer of vMedia, starting from yesterday,” Khaleel said.
Mohamed Asif had said that he wanted to dedicate more time on to improve his personal living, as he left TVM late last month.
Asif said that during his long tenure in TVM, he had tried to work together with his fellow employees to make the TVM the best channel in the country, and that TVM continues to hold that status.
With reference to Asif, V-Media stated that Asif chose the organization because vMedia has made him the best offer.
