Vice President departs to UK to attend Baroness Thatcher's funeral

Vice President Mohamed Waheed Deen has departed to the United Kingdom today to attend the funeral of Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Baroness Margaret Thatcher.

The Vice President will attend the funeral as the representative from the Government of Maldives.

Baroness Thatcher died on 8th April 2013 Monday morning after a stroke. She was 87.
