The Minister added that anyone who has not collected their allocated tuna cases for any reason can do so at the MIFCO center in Malé until the first day of Ramadan. Distribution at the center will take place from 20:30pm to 23:00pm.
Minister Adam Shareef also thanked everyone who contributed to the distribution efforts.
A total of 118,773 households nationwide were allocated cases containing 48 cans of tuna this year. However, data on completed collections is still unavailable. Distribution in the islands was handled by local councils, while 15 designated venues managed the effort in the Greater Malé area.
This year, Ramadan is projected to begin this Wednesday.
