An 86-year-old Maldivian man on an Umrah pilgrimage with Qibla Hajj and Umrah Group passed away on Saturday.

A Qibla Group official told Sun that the deceased has been identified as Mohamed Hassan, a resident of H.Dh. Vaikaradhoo.

According to the official, Mohamed Hassan had been receiving treatment at Al Noor Hospital in Mecca since the 17th of this month. Arrangements are now underway to conduct his funeral in Mecca.
