Water and sewerage services commissioned for all FDC flats

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC), on Friday night, has announced the commissioning of water and sewerage services for all 4,000 flats developed by Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) under the former administration’s ‘Gedhoruveriya’ housing scheme.

MWSC, via a post on X on Friday night, said the company has successfully completed the installation, testing, and commissioning of the water and sewerage connections, as well as the water boosting system, across all 4,000 flats, effectively commencing water and sewerage services to all units.

There have been mounting complaints regarding delays in the handover of FDC flats.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has pledged that all keys will be handed over before the start of the next academic year, which begins on January 27.
