Teen arrested with 11 drug packets hidden inside boxers

A teenager has been arrested from Male’ with 11 drug filled packets hidden inside his boxers.

The suspect, a 19-year-old man native to R. Maduvvari, was arrested on suspicion of possession and abuse of drugs, and brought before the Criminal Court on Wednesday for his remand hearing.

The court remanded him in custody of the police for 15 days.

According to court documents, the police found 11 packets containing drugs on the young man, including from inside his boxers.

He claimed the drugs were for personal use.

The court documents also show that the young man tested positive for drugs, and has priors.
