Under the visionary leadership of Sun Siyam, Sun Travels is preparing a strategic expansion beyond the Maldives, aligning its refreshed brand with new international markets and a digitally driven partner experience.
At the rebranding ceremony held at Sun Siyam Olhuveli on Thursday evening, Deepak Booneady, Chief Executive Officer of Sun Siyam Resorts, outlined the company’s direction and unveiled Sun Travels’ upgraded digital platform to enhance partner service.
“Our new brand identity represents Sun Travels that is modern, focused, and ready for the new digital era. With our new platform, we are strengthening the way we work, offering faster responses, stronger connectivity, and a smooth experience to all our partners", Deepak Booneady said.

Founded in 1990 as a travel agency and tour operator focused on inbound tourism, Sun Travels has grown from a small business into one of the Maldives’ most advanced tourism companies, forging strong relationships with tour operators worldwide.
The expansion aligns with the Sun Siyam Group’s 35th anniversary and the recent rebranding of its resorts on September 1. The group operates five resorts in the MaldivesSiyam World, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, Sun Siyam Iru Veli, and Sun Siyam Olhuveliand Sun Siyam Pasikudah in Sri Lanka.
