President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has begun his visits to meet with residents of Male' City, starting with Villimale’.
At a rally marking his government’s two-year anniversary, the President announced that he would meet separately with residents of each ward in the capital.
Government Spokesperson Heena Waleed confirmed in a post on X this Saturday that the first meeting will take place on Sunday, November 23, at 20:30, at Muhyiddin School in Villimale’. She invited all Villimale’ residents to attend and share their views.
According to the 2022 census, Villimale’ has a population of around 6,754.
Last month, the government announced that President Muizzu had visited all inhabited islands of the Maldives within less than two years in office.
