Fifth MAHRP Learning and Development conference well received

The fifth Learning and Development Conference of the Maldives Association of Human Resources Professionals (MAHRP), held on Saturday, was received well.

According to MAHRP, the purpose of the conference is to provide individuals working in the field of human resources with insights into the latest technologies in employee training.

Since 2019, MAHRP has been hosting this conference, which serves as an important platform for shaping the workplace, offering a variety of ideas and information.

This year's conference theme was ‘Navigating Tomorrow: Building Future-Ready Organizations Through Transformative Learning’.

International keynote speaker and executive coach Afeef Hussain told Sun that the conference aimed to provide up-to-date training and facilitate discussions on effective training methodologies.

The conference featured expertise from both Maldivian and international professionals.

Some of the distinguished speakers at the conference included:

Afeef reported that more than 200 people attended the conference, which he considers a highly successful event.

Established in 2018, MAHRP is the first professional association registered for HR and employee development in the Maldives.

The main objective of the organization is to support individuals working in the HR sector by providing various avenues to access the latest tools and facilitating the exchange of information and relationships with external stakeholders in the field.

In addition to the Learning and Development Conference, MAHRP also hosts an annual HR conference and convention.
