Police search for young woman missing from Male' since last weekend

Police are searching for a young woman reported missing from Male’ last weekend.

The police announced on Thursday that they are looking for Hawwa Hassan, 31, H. Blue Loon, K. Male’.

According to the police, Hawwa was reported missing by her family on March 8.

The family reported that they hadn’t heard from her since she left home that day.

The police said they had immediately shared her information with relevant police departments upon receiving the missing persons report, but their efforts to find any information regarding her whereabouts have proved futile.

Police asked for anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to immediately call the Maafannu Police Investigation’s duty hotline at 9660183.

The police took the opportunity to thank the public for their assistance in such matters.
