Dangerous accident involving two motorbikes in Male’

Two motorbikes collided in a dangerous accident at Male’ Boduthakurufaanu Magu on Wednesday night.

Police, in a message to the media, said the accident was reported to the authority at approximately 22:11pm.

The accident involved the collision between a motorbike that was turning to Koimalaa Hingun after exiting the bridge and a motorbike that was driving towards the bridge on Boduthakurufaanu Magu.

Police detailed that a woman sitting behind one of the motorbikes was thrown to the ground on impact – sustaining head injuries. She is currently being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

The accident is under investigation by the Police.
