Fire at Maradhoo home burns down godown, cart

A fire broke out at a home in Addu City’s Maradhoo early Monday morning which saw a godown and a cart burn down.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) said the authority’s Southern Area Hithadhoo Fire Station firemen attended to the scene incident upon receiving the fire report at approximately 05:46am this morning.

The fire broke out at Ethumaage, located at Maradhoo.

As per MNDF, the fire was brought under control at approximately 6:45am.

The fire burned down a cart built at the home for business purposes and an adjoining godown. No one was injured in the incident.
