Team 'Husbulhi' wins Ooredoo Masrace 2024 in Lh. Naifaru.

As the champions of the Masrace Lh. Naifaru segment, 'Husbulhi' received a prize of MVR 25,000.

Ooredoo Maldives earlier announced this year, as part of the company's 19th anniversary, the Ooredoo Masrace will be held in three locations; K. Himmafushi, Lh. Naifaru, and GDh. Thinadhoo.

A number of special awards were given out to the winning teams and fishes after a day of competitive fishing among the teams.

Husbulhi took the championship title in Naifaru segment of the competition with a total of 921.4 points, while Chill Broz placed second with 698.45 points and team Korakali landed in third with 438.3 points.

Additionally, Mohamed Nasheed from team Alifas was awarded with the 'Heaviest Catch' for successfully catching a muda handhi (Giant Trevally) weighing 9.4 kilograms.

Ali Abdulla from Chill Broz was crowned 'Best Fisherman' for 24 successful catches, and Jawada Ahmed from team Korakali was crowned 'Best Fisherwoman' for 15 catches.

At the first segment, held in K. Himaafushi earlier on August 9th, team SIFCO took the championship title.
