BML 7th Interschool Kids Swimming Festival concludes

The Bank of Maldives (BML), in partnership with the Swimming Association of Maldives, has successfully wrapped up the 7th Interschool Swimming Festival.

The swimming festival was held at the Hulhumale's Indoor Swimming Pool, and saw remarkable 485 swimmers from 23 schools participating in the 6-day event.

The young swimmers, aged between 6 and 10, showed their abilities in multiple swimming heats, including butterfly, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and individual medley races.

BML also notes that the festival "not only highlights the youth development in sports" in the Maldives but also motivates young athletes to reach their full potential in competitive swimming.

The closing ceremony was held on Saturday, awarding the winners in all categories.
