Pakistan gifts computers and laptops to Islamic Ministry

Pakistan High Commission in the Maldives has gifted 10 computer systems and seven laptops to the Islamic Ministry.

A special ceremony was held at the Islamic Ministry on Thursday morning to hand over the items.

The items were handed over by High Commissioner Vice Admiral (Retired) Muhammad Fayyaz Gilani on behalf of the High Commission and received by Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed on behalf of the Islamic Ministry.

Speaking at the ceremony, High Commissioner Gilani underscored the longstanding close ties between Pakistan and Maldives, and thereby, affirmed that Pakistan will always remain ready to provide assistance to the Maldives in matters required.

He also affirmed commitment to strengthening religious ties between the two nations.

Minister Shaheem, who also spoke at the ceremony, extended gratitude for the assistance rendered by Pakistan to Maldives, particularly the Islamic Ministry.
