Dhiraagu holds Annual Awards

Dhiraagu has hosted its Annual Awards ceremony.

The largest telecommunication and internet service provider in the Maldives, held its annual awards recognizing the contributions and exceptional performances of its employees.

The awards, held at Crossroads Maldives on Friday evening, was officiated by the Chief Executive of Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM) Ilyas Ahmed.

Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed, along with board members and senior executives attended the ceremony.

Besides recognizing the talent and contributions, long serving employees were acknowledged for their dedicated service. A total of 79 awards were extended at the ceremony, which included;

• Award for employees serving Dhiraagu for 10, 15, and 25 years: 45 employees received the award
• 15 employees received the Divisional Merit Award
• 11 employees received the Special Merit Award
• Five employees received the Innovation Award
• Two employees received the Outstanding Leaders Award

Ismail Samah, Engineer - Core Systems received the most prestigious accolade of the event, the Chairman's Award.

While recognizing Samah's contributions, Dhiraagu said his dedication and work had eased the company's core system projects.

Dhiraagu said it remains dedicated towards staff empowerment, and enhancement of digital experiences for the customers.
