Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has urged the public to wear masks when visiting the hospital with any symptoms of the flu.

In a public announcement on Wednesday night, the hospital noted that it had stopped the services of the flu clinic it recently established specifically for pilgrims who returned from Hajj. The hospital also urged members of the public visiting the hospital with symptoms of flu to wear masks.

IGMH had earlier asked the public to limit visits to the hospital to essential purposes.

Meanwhile, Health Protection Agency (HPA) urged to reduce the number of family members visiting the airport to receive returning Hajj pilgrims on June 30th.

They also advised the public to avoid crowds, and wear masks when at the airport, or when using public transport such as taxis, buses or ferries.
