Kaani Hotels to expand portfolio with Vaavu lagoon bid win

Kaani Hotels and Tours, has secred a bid to develop a lagoon into a tourist resort in Vaavu atoll, Maldives.

With this milestone, Kaani Hotels is poised to expand the family-owned business from a guesthouse operator into the tourist resort segment.

Kaani Hotels and Tours was established twelve years back with a single 18-room guesthouse. Their dedication and commitment in enhancing bespoke hospitality experiences helped Kaani Hotels expand, and currently boasts a portfolio of four guesthouses with 199 rooms in total.

Kaani Haven Beach and Kaani Dream Beach, two new properties are currently under construction and scheduled to open in 2025 - with inclusion of these two properties, the hospitality brand's portfolio is poised to boasat 411 rooms.

Their latest, Kaani Beach Resort, the first tourist resort venture under the brand, promises to be a game-changer for Kaani Hotels.

The property is planned as a club-style 200-key resort, featuring a combination of 120 luxurious beach villas and 80 overwater villas.
