All Maldivians who traveled to Saudi Arabia for the annual hajj pilgrimage have arrived safely in Arafat, according to the Maldives Hajj Mission.
They arrived in Mount Arafat on early Saturday, after spending the previous night in Mina, a valley outside Mecca.
In a post on X on Saturday morning, the Maldives Hajj Mission said that all Maldivian pilgrims arrived safely in Arafat.

According to the Saudi authorities, some 2.1 million Muslims have gathered in the country to perform the annual hajj pilgrimage.
