The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) under the Visit Maldives brand, is participating in the Riyadh Travel Fair (RTF) 2024, which commenced on Monday.
This year's Riyadh Travel Fair that inaugurated on Monday will last until Wednesday, this week.
MMPRC is leading the Maldivian contingent that includes 17 participants representing 9 companies.
At the fair, MMPRC's Visit Maldives brand will be showcasing Maldives as a top-of-the-mind destination in Saudi Arabian market. MMPRC will strengthen the Maldivian tourism brand and presence at the Saudi market, aimed at achieving growth in arrivals, promote segments of tourism, and target affluent travelers in the Middle Eastern luxury segment.
The Riyadh Travel Fair 2024, is considered as a significant annual event where the leading travel and tourism companies in Saudi with GCC and other international companies and countries gather with exhibitors.
The fair also serves as a platform for the introduction of tourist products, services, and investments provided by the most significant tourist companies in the world.
The fair attracts corporate travel decision makers, investors, tour operators, travel agents representing VIP clients, and other industry professionals every year.
The Maldivian stand at the fair offers a glimpse of the "breathtaking Sunny Sife of Life" and was thoughtfully curated to showcase the diverse segments of the Maldives' tourism industry, including luxury travel, family and adventure holidays, and cultural experiences.
The Riyadh Travel Fair allows MMPRC to market the tourism products, including resorts, guesthouses, liveaboards, and hotels and other unique services and experiences available from the Maldives to attract more travelers from the Saudi market.
