The eighth cruise ship originating from Italy has docked outside Male' City.
President of Maldives Association of Yacht Agents (MAYA) Mohamed Nasheed confirmed to 'Sun' on the arrival of MS. Aidabella, which "called port of Male'" on April 08th, 2024 arriving from Langkawi.
The cruise ship carries 2,148 passengers with 650 crew members, and will be berthed outside Male' City for two days before setting course for Muscat.
MAYA also revealed three more cruise ships are scheduled to call within this April.
The cruise liner reached the port of Male' around 06:30hrs on Monday morning, traveling from Malaysia.
"The passengers have already started to reach Male' City for various excursions and activities, some of them even traveled to neighboring islands, which included CROSSROADS Maldives, Maafushi, and Hulhumale'," Nasheed said.
Previously, MS. Aidabella had called port at Male' in November 2023, carrying 2008 passengers and 600 crew members.
