'Ramadan Gift' staple available until April 9th

Issuance of the staple food donations as part of "Ramadan Gift" has been extended until April 09th, 2024.

State Trading Organization (STO) announced on Wednesday, the free staples include 10kg basmati rice and 10kg flour will be available for the citizens who did not receive them so far.

The items will be available from STO's staple foods warehouse in Male' City.

The gifts are provided exclusively for Maldivian citizens. Those visiting the warehouse to collect the items should provide the domestic electricity meter number along with the recipient's national ID card.

The free staple foods will be issued until the deadline from 10:00hrs until 13:00hrs each day.
