Young man sustains serious injuries in Fuvahmulah motorbike crash

A young man was transferred to a hospital in Male’ on Tuesday early morning, after sustaining serious injuries in a motorbike crash in Fuvahmulah City.

According to the police, the incident involves a 32-year-old Maldivian male, who lost control of his motorbike and crashed into a zebra crossing post.

The accident was reported to police at 11:43 pm on Monday.

The man was initially treated at the Fuvahmulah Hospital.

Hospital officials told the police that he was in serious condition.

He was transferred to Male’ City at dawn on Tuesday for further treatment.
