Man injured in fall from fifth floor of Male’ building

A young man sustained serious injuries on Sunday, after falling from the fifth floor of a building in Male’ City.

The incident was reported to the police at 05:27 am.

According to the police, the victim, a 32-year-old Maldivian male, was found unresponsive on the ground in Neeloafaru Magu.

He was taken to the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

A spokesperson from the IGMH said he is being treated at the Emergency Room. He said the condition of the patient is serious, but declined to disclose details.
